Generative Spirits #1

The concept of the spirit has always fascinated me. It would seem that each culture or group of people has its own way of expressing this concept whether it be tied to nature, religion, or just plain spiritualism. Some of the versions use a hand-drawn image that contains a variety of components that are dynamically recolored based on a set of color palettes. Other programs use vectors to create the spirits. The outputs of the P5 program were then used as input to guide Stable Diffusion along with prompts and parameters. Below we can see the output of the P5 program and the Stable Diffusion (SD) output.

Spirit Version #0

Version #0 was simply an attempt to use depth and scale to communicate an abstract expression of spiritual ascension. It was my first attempt with this form of expression.

Spirit Version #1

Version #1 was another attempt at ascension with more dynamic range. The level of detail in the enlarged resolutions is stunning (not shown due to loading speed).

Spirit Version #2

Version #2 tried to capture what I think is the etheral quality of the spirit and collective spirit. The level of detail in the enlarged versions is stunning (not shown due to loading speed).
